Each
car will be a pproximately 22 metres long and 3 metres wide, with four
doors on each side. Cars will be joined together with gangways which permit
passengers to move freely from car to car. The car body will be constructed
of stainless steel. The three-car train will have 126 seats. In peak periods,
735 passengers will be able to stand at a density of 6 passengers per square
metre. Applying a crush laoding factor (a density of 8 passengers per square
metre), the total number of passengers per train will increase to 1,106.
